Simple and delicious Strawberry Banana Smoothie
With the three kids, I’m finding it really hard to have breakfast everyday. I decided that with my weight loss journey and having to look after three little ones I needed something quick and healthy. To be honest I’m not much of a fruit person I’m more of a veggie girl. I am also super picky especially with drinks so, smoothies are always a hit or a miss or takes me 2 hrs to drink(literally). Smoothies are an excellent way to get in
While experimenting with making smoothies I’ve finally found my go to smoothie. Super simple and tasty and with help you stay youthful with this specific ingredient. While testing out a few products and waisting a ton of money on protein powders I’ve decided scratch that Im not adding protein to my smoothies because it taste gross to me. What I will add is some vital proteins collagen Beauty booster creamer in vanilla. You can also add this creamer to your coffee but hell know i like my coffee the way I like it (wink) .
You can make this smoothie so much more healthier by adding rolled oats or chia seeds but for this recipe I’m keeping it super simple.
Preptime: 5-10 mins Serving: 1-2
- 2 cups of Fresh frozen strawberries
- 1 fresh banana, peeled
- 1 cup of almond milk vanilla
- 1/2 cup of filtered water
- 1Tbsp of Vital Proteins
- 1 tablespoon honey, if needed to sweeten
Add everything to your blender or Magic bullet and Voila. It really doesn’t matter what order you add the ingredents because everything is going to get blended together anyways.
