My Favourite Skin tints

There was a point in time where I was a full face Makeup queen. On my quest of building a good skin care routine and perfecting what products work for me I took a break from wearing makeup. As much as I loved makeup I always stayed in the lane of  the more natural look. In my mind, because I was doing a good routine and my skin was popping, I felt that I didn’t need it anymore. I started to miss Makeup especially when I was going out. I discovered skin tints, I always knew they existed but never for my shade. Now there is a variety of skin tint shades and brands are expanding their colour wheel.

Here are a few Skin tints Ive tried and wanted to share with in case you were looking for one.

Drunk Elephant D- Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops

(cocoa Extract Platinum Peptides)

If you’ve been following me for sometime on Instagram then you know this is my go too especially in the summer. I use after my moisturizer and it gives the most subtle glow. The glow that D Bronzi gives is like you’ve been on vacation and been kissed by the sun. What I love along side the glow is the fact that it’s also and Anti pollution formula which helps to block the pollutants in the air. I suggest wearing this if you plan on going to festivals or spending the day downtown shopping.

Fenty Beauty/ Fenty Skin Ease Drop

(Blurring Skin Tint)

Anything that Fenty drops Im going to try and unlike some of their other products this was a TOTAL win for me. This skin tint just blurs the skins minor imperfections and blemishes. Its buildable and still offer natural look but beat. This formula is Magic and I love it , especially if i’m going out for dinner and want to look a bit more extra them my shopping look.

Ilia Super Srum Skin Tint

(Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Lotion)

I stocked this product for the longest time because it wasn’t available in Canada until the ending of summer/ fall 2021. It was a product that I was very interested in trying because not only was it a skin tint but it as also a skin care product and had a SPF of 40. Why It’s also considered a skin care product is because it also includes Niacinamide Squalane and Hyaluronic Acid. Ilia has a wide range of colours and in between colours which made it easy to choose my colour. In my opinion the formula was a bit on the heavy side but would work perfect for someone who travels a lot or going on vacation because of everything it contains easy to travel with if you want to minimize the amount of product you want to travel with.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

(Oil Free Natural Skin perfector)

I Found this formula to be okay It was a bit on the heavy side for my and the colour was a bit off. This product in my opinion would work very well for someone who is more on the drier skin type and looking for a little bit more coverage than the lighter skin tints. I believe Laura Mercier has another formula that I am willing to try.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I LOVE MILKMAKEUP. Their Skin Tint is so lovey Light and airy I love to wear this on a beach day or day at the park with kids. Its one of the skin tints That give you a little coverage and a nice glow.

There are still a few more tints I want to try I will keep you posted and update this post once Ive tried the ones on my list.

Happy Skin Tinting!
